Assembly Instructions:

To install Snaplatch, you will need:

• Flathead Screwdriver
• Hammer
• Pliers

Begin by locating the metal latch pin, which is located in the cooler lid, near the latch. Wedge the screwdriver in between the metal latch pin and cooler body, and gently drive the pin out by striking the screwdriver with the hammer. Once the pin has backed out enough to grab with pliers, use the pliers to pull the pin completely out.

Next, remove the old rubber latch. Position the Snaplatch so that the logo is facing outwards, and drive the pin back through the Snaplatch with a hammer. You may encounter resistance: this is normal, as the inside of the latch has a small bit of material to grab the pin and retain it’s last position.

Complete assembly by ensuring the pin is fully inserted.

Once complete, test the latch. It should securely and easily lock the cooler, like in the video below.
